Hey, lovely 💛
Welcome back to the Lovely Home Podcast—where we trade grace over guilt and learn how to create rhythms that actually work for your real life, your real brain, and your real home.
In today’s episode, we’re diving into kitchen rhythms and routines—but not in a “perfect countertops” kind of way. We’re talking about building a lovely, lived-in, guilt-free kitchen that serves you and your family with more peace, better flow, and less stress.
You’ll start with a simple but powerful 5-senses reset to help you look at your kitchen with “lovely eyes” (even if there are dishes in the sink). Then we walk through four practical questions that will help you understand your kitchen better—and finally create changes that stick:
What’s the chaos? (What’s frustrating, stressful, or constantly piling up?)
What’s the calm? (What’s already working well—habits, systems, or set-ups that bring peace?)
What goes? (What are 3 things you can literally remove to free up space and mental load?)
What flows? (What physical items make your kitchen function better?)
I also share my real-life “kitchen pain points” and the exact solutions I’m using—like my pausing station, writing sweet notes with dry erase markers on the fridge, my drink drawer, and the absolute game-changer: Slow Cooker Sunrise (a genius habit that helped me wake up earlier, meal prep effortlessly, and feel more present in my mornings).
We’ll also touch on the brain science behind clutter—how a messy environment can increase stress and make it harder for your prefrontal cortex to function well, while your amygdala flares and your hippocampus struggles (hello, brain fog). And we’ll ground it all in Scripture as we talk about building your home with wisdom and living in a way that honors God.
If you’ve ever thought:“Why is my kitchen always messy?” or “Why can’t I be good enough at keeping it clean?”this episode is your gentle-but-practical reset to stop attacking your temple and start building a kitchen rhythm with confidence—because you’re the boss of your kitchen.
And yes… we also end with a spicy Would You Rather Bible question that will absolutely make you pause and think.

Hey lovely — in today’s episode of the Lovely Home Podcast, we’re slowing it all the way down.
If you’ve been craving a peaceful home, a calmer mind, and grace-filled habits (without the constant pressure to “do more”), this conversation is for you. We’re talking about what slow living actually means—because it’s not laziness, not checking out, and not pretending life isn’t busy. It’s choosing to move at a pace of meaning instead of a pace of pressure, so you can be more present, purposeful, and at peace in your everyday homemaking.
You’ll walk away with five practical slow living tips you can apply immediately—whether you’re working on your thought life, building healthy rhythms instead of rigid routines, or learning how to love your home again right where you are.
| In This Episode, You’ll Learn |
How to notice the lovely (and use your five senses to reset your brain and refocus your heart)
Why rhythms over routines creates more consistency and less guilt (goodbye “domino train” burnout)
How to pursue quality over quantity in your habits, your home, and your life
What to do when your brain tries to make you feel guilty for resting
Simple ways to choose hobbies and practices that naturally help you live slower (food, reading, homemaking, Bible study, and more)
We also end with a fun Would You Rather question: would you rather have your home professionally organized or professionally decorated—unlimited budget?

Hey lovely
— welcome to this very fun bonus episode of The Lovely Home Podcast! I’m your host, Evelyn, and I’m here to help you refocus on grace over guilt in your mind, life, and home as a Christian homemaker.
Today’s episode is basically a cozy, planner-girly chat where I’m sharing my favorite things about the Lovely Home Planner and why I’m genuinely obsessed with it (yes, I created it… but I’m still calling these unbiased reasons 😄). If you’ve ever wanted a planner that feels like an “everything book”—one place for your routines, meal planning, shopping list, brain dumps, and notes—this episode will help you see exactly why the Lovely Home Planner was designed the way it was.
We also talk about something important: if you’re a dated planner girl, I’ve got you! I share two beautiful, Christ-centered dated planner options from other small businesses that I personally love and use—especially for business planning.
In this episode, you’ll hear:
The real story behind how the Lovely Home Planner was born (hint: 2022 + newlywed life + wanting how to build rhythms without being told what to do)
Why the journaling prompts are the “secret sauce” (and why I was determined to write them myself)
My hilarious, nerve-wracking TJ Maxx moment that helped me choose the planner size (and why there’s a thank-you to a stranger in the back of the planner!)
My favorite weekly layout details:
an Extra Notes page every single week
two weekly journaling prompts (home + mindset/habits)
a Lovely To-Do’s page for your brain dump + prioritizing what actually matters
the half-page Meal Plan + Shopping List that you can rip out and take to the store (and stick on the fridge!)
Why the planner is undated on purpose (so you can pick it up without guilt, no matter your season)
The hidden goodies: QR code “easter eggs,” a course at the beginning, and a little surprise at the end
My two favorite dated planner recommendations:
Selah Publications (stunning, Christ-centered, lays flat, ribbon bookmarks, gold foil edges)
Horacio Printing (exquisitely durable, a full unboxing experience, course + stickers, layout options)
And yes… we talk pricing and the new year sale:
The Lovely Home Planner is now $30

Hey lovely
— welcome back to The Lovely Home Podcast! I’m your host, Evelyn, and I’m here to help you refocus on grace over guilt in your mind, life, and home as a Christian homemaker.
In today’s first “official” episode of 2026, we’re doing a fresh-start check-in the grace-filled way: habits I’m leaving in 2025 and habits I’m bringing with me into 2026. We talk about realistic homemaking rhythms (not perfection), how clutter and overwhelm affect your brain, and the simple shifts that can help you feel more calm, focused, and “back to yourself” when you walk in the door.
Inside this episode, I share:
The habit I’m officially breaking: letting my bathroom sink become a clutter catch-all
A habit I’m keeping: creating and protecting a “Place of Peace” (a spot that’s just for restoration, hobbies, Bible study, and feeling like you)
The habit I’m leaving behind: using my Place of Peace as storage (no more “I’ll deal with that later” piles!)
A brand-new rhythm that’s helping my nervous system: my Pausing Station (a quick reset moment when I get home so I stop doom scrolling and stop tossing clutter everywhere)
A mindset shift I’m practicing this year: cleaning before things “look dirty” (especially counters and high-touch spaces)
Then we wrap with a sweet, Christ-centered encouragement for the new year: it’s a new day and a new year… but not a new you. The world says “new year, new you,” but we’re leaning into the peace of knowing your identity is already held by God — and you are loved, known, and covered by grace. I also read Matthew 6:26–30 as a reminder that you don’t have to carry the pressure of perfection into this year.
And to end our episode, we kick off the first Would You Rather of 2026 from a lovely listener:Would you rather have a perfectly clean house but no quiet time… or plenty of peaceful quiet time but a house that’s always a little messy?

Thursday Jan 01, 2026

Hey Lovely — happy New Year from the Lovely Home Podcast! 🎉In today’s special bonus Clean With Me episode, we’re starting 2026 with a grace-filled home reset that helps you feel more peace and less guilt as you tidy, dust, vacuum, and finally tackle those last-year dishes (you know the ones 😅).
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by clutter, disappointed that you “didn’t finish,” or tempted to keep pushing past your limits, this episode is your gentle reset. We’re using a simple, realistic rhythm: 10-minute clutter control (with my favorite left-to-right method for scatterbrained friends like me), then dust something, vacuum something, and get that sink empty so you can breathe again.
But we’re not just cleaning—we’re renewing our mindset, remembering what God did in 2025, and walking into the new year with fresh start energy rooted in grace. We pause to notice one lovely thing in your space, lay it at the cross in gratitude, and end by praying together for the year ahead.
Also, as a New Year gift: Lovely Rhythms Calls are FREE for one week only—a chance to build a custom rhythm that fits your energy levels, love languages, home, and marriage, so you can work as a team without the constant overwhelm.

In this episode, you’ll:
Do a Clean With Me New Year reset (tidy, dust, vacuum, dishes)
Try the left-to-right decluttering method for focus + follow-through
Release perfectionism and practice grace-based homemaking
Reflect on 2025 blessings and step into 2026 with peace
Pray a New Year prayer for a Christ-centered year and healthy habits

Hey Lovely — it’s basically 2026, and if the internet is already making you feel behind… we’re not doing that here. In today’s episode of the Lovely Home Podcast, we’re preparing for the new year with grace-filled homemaking, Christian encouragement, and a simple reflection framework that helps you reset your mind, life, and home without the guilt spiral.
I’m sharing my easy-to-remember acronym "RHYTHMS"—seven anchored questions to help you release pressure, honor God’s expectations (not man’s), notice what’s already working in your home, and identify the stress points that are trying to tell you something. We talk through real-life examples (including the measuring cups drama 🤍), why “tension” in your home is often a systems problem, not a character problem, and how to create tiny rhythms that support your energy, faith, and family—like my new “pausing station” that has been saving my kitchen island.
We’ll also dive into what “lovely” actually means (hint: it’s exquisitely beautiful, and it looks different for every woman) and end with my favorite question of the entire episode:If grace were the foundation of your homemaking in 2026… what would you change?
Plus, we wrap up with a hilarious listener-submitted Would You Rather that will absolutely make you laugh. 😂
In this episode, you’ll learn:
How to reset for the new year without “do more / try harder” energy
The RHYTHMS acronym for a grace-centered home refresh
How to spot your home’s “tension points” and what they’re really saying
A faith-rooted way to define a “lovely home” without comparison
A simple rhythm that helps your nervous system settle when you walk in the door
How to bring God into homemaking as everyday worship (Deuteronomy 6:4–9)

Willpower, God’s Kingdom, and the Rhythms That Shape a Christian Home
In today’s deeply encouraging episode of The Lovely Home Podcast, we’re diving into willpower—but not the way the world defines it. As Christian women, our willpower isn’t rooted in self-effort or hustle culture. It’s rooted in God’s will, His strength, and His kingdom.
Together, we walk through:✨ What willpower actually means✨ Why worldly willpower leaves us exhausted✨ How Christian willpower is fueled by God’s strength, not our own✨ The tug-of-war between building our kingdom and living for God’s kingdom✨ How habits, rhythms, and small choices throughout the day shape our spiritual walk✨ Why faith sometimes makes us look “crazy” to the world—and why that’s a blessing✨ How asking “How can I spend God’s will right now?” changes everything in your home and heart
You’ll learn how to view willpower as the “tender of the mind,” how to spend it wisely and biblically, and how to step into a kingdom-minded rhythm that glorifies God in the ordinary and the lovely.
This episode is your reminder that:🌿 You don’t have to be strong.🌿 You don’t have to build your own kingdom.🌿 God offers you His will, His strength, and His path—every single morning.
If you want to explore this more personally and reshape your rhythms with biblical guidance and grace, you can book a Lovely Rhythms Call at allthingslovely.co.
And don’t miss today’s fun Would You Rather question at the end!
